Questions

How many times did you see Jesus?

I met Jesus four times during my experience, once when He came out of the rock in Zilker Park and said, "I am the Light of the World", once when I was worshipping at the feet of Jesus with the other angels in Heaven and Jesus showed me the nature of time (past, present, and future are all one), once when I was shown by God during the vision the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross and God showing me that He is "The Way" or "The Gate" to God (or, in other words, it is through or because of His death on the cross that everyone on Earth can connect to God), and then I saw Jesus once during my out-of-body experience of going to Heaven where Jesus showed me all of humanity's timeline from the time of Garden of Adam and Eve to the time of the wars at the end.

Do you believe in Jesus?

Yes.

Were you filled with the Holy Spirit?

Yes, I believe I was filled with the Holy Spirit the night I gave my life to Jesus in the middle of a grocery store parking lot a day or so after my birthday. I was sitting in my car near a tree around 3am when I trusted in God from within my heart, and when I did, I had a vision of a double-helix of golden light coming out of my heart with a ballerina dancing inside towards Heaven. I was filled with so much peace that I felt absolutely no fear for the first time in my life. It felt like my soul was dancing towards Heaven. When I went home later that morning, I trusted in God again from within my heart and a waterfall of the Golden Light of Jesus came down from Heaven into my heart and I was flooded with immense joy before being nearly hit by the car and going to Heaven.

Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?

Yes, God and the angels in Heaven showed me that the bible is The Living Word of God.  It is alive and active and it imparts spiritual life and truth into people when they read it.  I saw the angels worshipping in Heaven before God and they "eat" or "feast on" the word of God.  The angels taught me the bible in Heaven, and showed me that the words of the bible are completely true and consistent, even if people (like atheists or agnostics) may perceive inconsistency or contradiction within them.  The angels showed me that this is actually the perception of contradiction, rather than contradiction itself, and on some level, you get what you believe when you are on the Earth.  If you believe the Bible contradicts itself, you will experience the Bible as contradicting itself and base your worldview on that.

The angels in Heaven showed me that you have to read the Bible spiritually in order to understand it.  What that means is you have to read it with an open heart or an open mind (as if you are simultaneously reading the words of God then and asking God or the angels to help you receive the revelations or spiritual growth it can give to you).  This is like asking God and the angels for guidance, help, or insight when you read it (so you read it slowly, meditating on each of the words, not reading it purely intellectually or for knowledge, but spiritually) as if to receive something good from it.  God and the angels showed me that The Bible is all anyone needs for spiritual growth.  God showed me, even if the stories and lessons in it are old and archaic, it is still good and necessary to read daily (think daily bread).

God and the angels showed me that it is not the most important thing that someone understands and reads all of the bible (like fully reading or understanding the Old Testament), but the most important thing or takeaway from the Bible is love and the teachings of Jesus to love your neighbor as yourself.  Jesus came to live, fulfill, and teach the highest truths about love (to do no harm to others, love your enemies, and to love your neighbor as if you are them).  This creates true empathy and compassion for other human beings when you think about others more than yourself.  The teachings of Jesus in the Bible are like the highest law or everything the bible amounts to or is meant to amount to.  Love for your neighbor and love for yourself.

What God also showed me about the bible is that every scripture is infinitely true.  I saw the words of scripture in Heaven as infinite truths filled with infinite meaning stretching onto eternity.  They are not just true in one way, they are true in infinite ways, because God is true and God is infinite.  When you read the Bible or a scripture, it is imparting multiple or infinite truths to you that stretch on into eternity.  This is how the Bible can speak to you one way on one day, and then another the next.  It is filled with multiple dimensions understandings of God's Light and Truth.

God and the angels showed me that the most important thing is the meaning behind the words with the Bible.  Words we use on Earth can sometimes fall short to describe spiritual or Heavenly realities and will never be a perfect communicator for the spiritual Truths that are on the other side.  They will always fall short.  This is why some bible translations can be more accurate than others or have better words, but the most important thing or takeaway is the meaning behind the words.

What version of the Bible do you read?

I read multiple versions of the Bible.  I was raised reading the KJV (which was very hard for me to understand) or the NKJV (which was a easier).  Today, I primarily read the NIV and the ESV.  However, God and the angels showed me it's not important the version you read, but that you are reading the bible, enjoying it, and growing and learning from it in a healthy, life-giving way.

How many angels did you see?

I saw the four angels who are seated before the throne of God in Heaven.  They had multiple wings, like six, were really big, and were singing before the throne of God constantly saying, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"  I then became like one of these angels and then I saw or worshipped with The Seven Angels who are before the throne of Jesus.  Then after my vision from God on the night of my birthday, I saw hundreds or thousands of angels throughout the Earth in white robes.

Were the four creatures scary?

The angels I saw were not scary at all.  The angels in Heaven are purely kind, non-judgmental creatures, who are purely good, and who only want for the good of all humanity.  When you have a perception that the angels in Heaven or God are scary, it is usually due to a fear-based belief that is at the heart of it, the most common one being that God and the angels want to hurt you in some way, are mad, unforgiving, or punishing.  However, the Bible says that all fear has to do with a false belief of a vengeful or punishing God ("perfect love casts out fear...").

What did Jesus look like?

I saw Jesus as a man with shoulder-length slightly wavy, brown hair, a long face, wearing a white robe with a colored (I think purple) sash. When I see Jesus, He appears in many different forms of variations, but He is always very loving and kind, and I know when it is Jesus. He is almost always wearing clothing similar to what He wore on the Earth. When I saw Jesus while going to Heaven, He was again wearing a white robe with a colored sash. However, I knew that underneath this, He is a Being of Light. God showed me that our image here on Earth is not necessarily our true image and we are actually all made of light.

Why do we come to Earth to suffer?

You come here to live and to love.  However, suffering is part of life and we are meant to grow or learn through these experiences (“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”)  If you have a story, the story or character would not be interesting without some challenges for the main character to go through or overcome.  It can be very hard to hear that if you are currently suffering in your life or going through a difficult experience.  In no way does this mean that God or the angels are doing this to you, or you are being punished by God.  It is best not to take the experience personally and go through the normal motions in the healthiest way to you.

Do we plan or pre-plan our existence here?

God showed me in the vision He gave me and during my out-of-body experience of going to Heaven that we are our souls and our souls are eternal and go on for forever. Our existence does not purely begin at conception but begins long before that when God created us (Jeremiah 1:5). I was held in the arms of God in the space that is after our coming to Earth from above where the classroom is, but before our physical conception into our mother’s wombs. God showed me that our individual souls come to Earth to grow and learn. When the soul comes to Earth, God holds the soul in His arms like a mother, and then God releases or puts that soul into their mother’s womb, before they are born physically. When we are born, we live our lives on Earth, then return “home” to Heaven when we are ready or have completed our individual plan or mission on Earth.

When you see angels, what do they look like?

When I see angels, they usually look like archangels. I usually see or feel Archangel Michael or Archangel Gabriel with me (who I understood would be very close to me during my life on Earth. I knew that they are my like my best friends and that I would not have human friends on the Earth, only angels). When I see angels, they are usually in their human form, holding swords or shields, and wearing battle armor that is either silver or gold. The angels I see usually have blonde, light brown, or shoulder-length wavy hair, with very robust facial features. Archangel Michael usually has black hair, Archangel Gabriel has golden blonde hair, and Archangel Raphael usually has red hair. Very rarely, will I will see other angels that are not archangels. When I do see angels that are not archangels, they are usually with blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a white robe, with wings, and no swords or battle armor. Other times, I will see African American angels. God will often reveal to me when I meet an angel in person as well. One of the first angels I met on Earth was an African American man.

When or where do you usually see angels?

I usually see angels when I am praying, worshipping, or spending time with God. I will also usually see them in a church or a spiritual setting. For instance, I may see angels in my living room a lot because I often connect to God or pray in my living room. I usually see angels wherever I am connecting to God or where other people are connecting to God.

What do the angels usually say or do?

The angels are here to help us with our lives and our spiritual growth and development. They are our teachers, our friends, and our companions here on the Earth. The Bible describes them as ministering spirits or guardians sent to help us. That means we can always ask God or the angels for help and they will help us. That’s exactly what they’re there for! For me, the angels usually remind me of important scriptures or spiritual truths. They say things like, “He is worthy of all praise,” reminding me to worship God. They will say, “Scripture is your strength!” or “God is Faithful.” The angels are always there to help you exactly in the way that you need it.

Do you go to church?

Yes, I go to church after my experience. God spoke to me audibly when I came back from Heaven and told me very firmly to go to church. However, I didn’t know what church to go to, so I just ended up going to all of them (Evangelical, Methodist, Episcopal, Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian, Charismatic, etc.).

Why do people have differing spiritual experiences and end up in different places when they die or go to Heaven?

When people die or leave their bodies, their spiritual experience typically reflects their spiritual life on Earth. If a person was not very close to God on Earth, had only a casual spiritual life, was an atheist or an agnostic at the time of their death, their afterlife experience will typically reflect that reality or truth. This is why so many near-death experiencers often end up in what’s been called a “void”, why some people end up in outer space seeing stars, and why some people go straight to Heaven (Crystal McVea, Mary C. Neal, Don Piper) or into The City in Heaven (“I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.”), or even to the Throne Room of God.

The spiritual dimension or reality will also be a reflection of what you need to see and what God wants to show you, at the time. This is why no two experiences are exactly alike, yet they have many things in common with other experiences. Everyone is an individual and will have an individual experience tailored exactly to them, yet there is a common theme underlying them all (God of Light, Love, Peace, Joy, Forgiveness, Compassion).

Did you experience purgatory?

I experienced what I believe is written about in the Bible, which is that when you believe in God or Jesus from within your heart, you go to Heaven to be with Him. The Bible says that when you believe in God or Jesus through faith (“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”), you are saved by God’s grace and have a place in Heaven to be with Him (“God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”). God showed me in the vision that it is through Christ’s death on the cross that humanity can have access to God. One of my favorite verses explains that, when you believe in God or Jesus, Jesus goes to prepare a place or home in Heaven for you (“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”).

Why did you get to have this experience?

I was very much an atheist during my 15 years of leaving the church and I don’t think I would’ve believed in God had I not seen God Himself with my own eyes. I very much believed that the physical universe was all there was for so long that it was hard for me to conceive of much else beyond that until the years leading up to my experience from 2014 to 2016 when I was living in Austin, TX. I also think God was answering my prayer from long ago, when I was 14, and asked God to reveal Himself to me personally one day if He wanted me to believe in Him.

Did it hurt when you came back into your body?

It did not hurt at all when I came back into my body. I experienced no pain whatsoever and I felt only the peace, love, joy, and ecstasy of Heaven.

Were you actually hit by the car?

Thankfully, I was not hit by the car! I knew God had spared me of this experience when I came back into my body and it was because I would not have been able to physically, emotionally, or spiritually handle the experience of going to Heaven and then being hit by a car. I did experience or see a reality in which I was hit by a car upon leaving my body. I saw Kathryn (me) lying on the ground from the scene of the accident and waved goodbye to her while I was going up to Heaven.

Why did you choose to come back to Earth?

I chose to come back to Earth or was sent back by God to share my story of meeting God with others and to help assist in the salvation of the lost souls I saw on the Earth who did not know God. I told God that I wanted to help them to know Him through sharing my vision and the story He gave me of meeting Him and going to Heaven.

What do you think of organized religion?

What God and the angels showed me from my vision is that every soul of every religion is beautiful to God, and it is the love that they have and express for others that means something to God, not their individual religion. A person’s individual religion or faith is meant to lead them to a connection to God and a life of love. To God, it doesn’t matter what a person’s religion is or if they have a religion, but that they are connected to God and live a life of love and kindness on the Earth. God and the angels showed me that peace with others and peaceful humanity will only be possible when people can have respect for other people’s religion.

Did you miss your family and friends when you were going to Heaven?

I did not miss my family, friends, or loved ones on the Earth at all when I was going to Heaven and felt absolutely no remorse or guilt about leaving them on the Earth. God showed me they would be “fine” and I knew God would take care of them. The experience of meeting God and going to Heaven is so overwhelmingly beautiful and joyful that you really do not want to return to Earth for anyone or anything unless you have to or are a very benevolent or caring soul or want to exist for the good of others.

Why do some people die young?

I understand that some individuals or souls are essentially “too pure” for everyone on this Earth it would hurt them too much be on Earth to live a long time because of their purity of their love and innocence, so God takes them before they can live a long life.
