When I met God on my birthday, one of the first things I was shown when I was taken was all of the souls on the Earth. I looked out over the city where I lived at the time as if I was looking through the eyes of God. In this Heavenly realm, which looked something like Heaven on Earth, everything that existed emanated with this pure, white light. The leaves and grass were all somehow greener than green. The sky was bluer than blue, yet within all of nature was this radiant light. The Light of God beamed from the sky and filled me with so much peace.
While I looked over the Earth through God’s eyes, the four angels in Heaven guided me over every soul of every religion over the city. There were no bodies, just pure souls that looked like precious pearls or glowing orbs of Light. Every time a soul loved, a light came out from their soul and connected with God’s Light in the sky. As I glanced over the souls, I saw little labels over each of them which said, “Atheist”, “Christian”, “Buddhist”, “Muslim”, “Hindu”, “Jewish”, “Agnostic” etc. While people may have loved their religion and even identified with it personally, God and the angels only saw their love.
God and the angels took me on something like a tour of the souls. At one point, God, the angels, and I hovered above an atheist soul. While many Christians or people on Earth thought of atheists or agnostics as non-spiritual, God and the angels showed me otherwise. To God and the angels, atheists could be very spiritual, because spirituality had nothing to do with religion, but with Love and Truth. God and the angels showed me they were even proud of atheists because of their constant quest for the truth through things like science. Truth, after all, is a component of Love. God and the angels also conveyed to me without words that an atheist can be even more concerned with the truth than a Christian. To correct more false beliefs that humanity had about atheists, I was also shown that if an atheist or an agnostic died, it didn’t automatically mean they were going somewhere bad like some Christians thought.
As God and the angels showed me this, I recalled my childhood and how many Christians on Earth sadly had such limiting beliefs about God and life after death, that they ended up condemning people who they thought were out of their club or group, but that wasn’t how God or the angels saw things at all. They revealed to me what I had always known from my years of friendships with atheists: that many atheists or agnostics were good people who lived lives of love, but they had simply rejected religion, usually from the negative experiences from people within it.
While I wasn’t raised in a conservative household, many of the people around me were and quite openly shared their beliefs about God with others, no matter how harmful or damaging they were. As a child, I could see how people in certain groups took their own limited interpretations of God as the truth and used it to exclude or to condemn others, to picket funerals, clinics, or stand on street corners shouting messages of fear instead of love. I even heard people say things like only Christians are God’s children, and no one else.
Yet, the day I was taken to Heaven, I could see things through God’s eyes. God looked over all of the souls of humanity with me and said, “Everyone is My Child. They can’t not be My child because I made them in My image of Love.”
You are made for Peace, Love, and Joy
