A Little About Me

I grew up in a coastal city in Florida known as Pensacola. While I was raised going to church every Sunday, I left Christianity and religion behind to be an atheist. I said a quick prayer to God when I was 14 that if He were real and wanted me in His Kingdom, then one day He would need to reveal Himself to me personally.

I waved goodbye to God as a teenager and lived my life to the full, free from the confines of religious thinking. In my youth, I traveled to Europe, landing in Germany, Russia, The Netherlands, and Belgium. I loved to explore other cultures and ways of thinking. I often dreamt of how we could make the world a more compassionate and humane place for those who are less fortunate. In my spare time, I enjoyed artistic hobbies like photography, cooking, listening to music, writing, drawing, playing the flute, and learning French. Eventually, I went to college to study anthropology when I realized there was much more to life.

I began to believe in the spiritual realm and the idea that humans were made to connect to God. I went to yoga classes, meditation groups, and chanting groups. Yet, despite all of my searching in Eastern forms of spirituality, I felt nothing and experienced no real connection to God. Then, on my birthday of July 1, 2016, I hit a point of rock bottom in life and called out to God in a prayer in my kitchen. When I asked God to know what forgiveness was like, I was taken to a Heavenly realm where God revealed His Love to me for all humanity and showed me the creation of the universe. A few days later, I nearly died and went to Heaven.
